We're probably doing ourselves a dis-service by telling you this but when it comes to families and choosing a beach they can be a bit hit and miss. So we're going to spill the beans and let you know which are the best ones we have come across in Juan Les Pins ..

Juan les Pins beaches generally have a gente shelving beach and restaurants on the waters edge so not only do the kids have a great time playing together, if you are lucky you can get a table close by to keep an eye on them and you really feel like you are in some exotic location. There are many options to choose from .. so far we can report on :

After a lovely lunch including an vegetarian option we moved onto the sun loungers right by the waters edge. Toilets ok .. The kids had a ball and mum and dad enjoyed a moment of "en vacance"

Getting into the vibe we got an English newspaper to keep Dad amused (making sure of course the kids were nearby and not in the water!) .. Mum went off to browse the great boutiques.

What makes Le Colombier a place we go back to again and again is the setting which islike paradise and the staff .. they make a point of serving the kids first and have a really good relationship with the guests.

We had drinks and ice-creams and sat at a table while the kids built sandcastles and splashed in the water. The decor is fun and toilets nice and clean with shower facilities too.
