USBORNE ENGLISH BOOKS IN THE SOUTH OF FRANCE

FOR YOUR CHILDREN ~ BABIES TO BIG KIDS

Living in the South of France we all know how difficult it is to get hold of great English books for our children. So here is a great opportunity: as a local independent organiser for Usborne Books Antonia is ready to take your orders so that you can stock your home bookshelf with some essential English books for your children.

COMPETITION

Share a Story Month competition in association with Usborne books and Federation of Children's Book Groups.

You tear a piece off your bedroom wallpaper and underneath it you find a message written on the wall beneath. What does it say, and who wrote it?

  • Imagine or recreate a battle that took place near your home. Who was fighting, and why?
  • Give an animal’s-eye view of an historical event.
  • Visit a local historical house, and tell the story of someone who lived there.

All you need to do is choose a theme, take a piece of paper (maximum size A3) and write, draw or make their masterpiece.

Then send it to KidooLand by June 1st 2007 and we will send the entries off for you.

Alternatively send it direct to competition headquarters no later than 15th June 2007.

The competition is divided into two categories:

  • Category A - up to Year 6 (Scottish Schools Primary 7)
