LE PARC VIGIER	Beside the port,Boulevard Franck Platte, a meditarrenean park of 10 000 m2 joins the sea. This was the first panted garden (1884) for the famous Phoenix Canariensis, Palm Tree expert to the Côte d'Azur. PARC FLORAL PHOENIX	LE PARC PHOENIX. A gigantic 7 hectare park which houses several marvelous gardens and one of the biggest greenhouses for animals and exotic plant life, lots of our feathered friends including parrots, owls and peacocks. If you are not convinced that there is something for everyone there is also the well stocked aquariums and if you dare the insect tanks or why not wonder in amazement at the nearly legendary 100 year old tortoise on your way into the park. 2 Euros per adult and is free for the under 12s. If you park in the car park also check at reception on whether they are reimbursing any of the parking fee they sometimes run little deals. Le PARC CHAMBRUN	In the residential area of Saint–Maurice the Chamrun Park is very calm . don't forget to visit the "temple de l'amour" or temple of love , a real romantic work of architectural art.
Le PARC VALROSE	Avenue Valrose, a unique park from the 2nd empire. 10 hectares at the foot of the Cimiez hills. More than 100 trees au pied de la colline de Cimiez. Plus d'une centaine d'arbres et shrubs, a lake with little islands and a kiosk, numerous sculptures and a real romantic ambiance awaits you.

Parc Départmental de l'Etang (Parcs Naturels)	Parc Departmental de l'Etang is a lake with open space around it ..take your bikes and enjoy a family walk, cycle, run.
ST LAURENT DU VAR
Great promenade away from the road, bordered by cafes and restaurants..take the kids bikes, buckets and spades..some sandy areas on beach but mostly pebbles, shore line slopes gently in most places
VILLNEUVE LOUBET
Parc de Vaugrenier (Parcs Naturels )	Parc Vaugrenier has a 100 hectares of open space just off the RN7. Take a picnic, the bikes, the dogs .. follow the Parcours de Sante a gentle assault course that gets the kids interested in keeping fit..check out the ducks on the lake and end up at the large play area. One drawback the turkish style toilets ...take kleenex along! and pick the right moment to leave so you don't get caught up in all the traffic.
